The IIF is a permanent cross industry foundation that champions important causes in the communities we operate in. Through annual events we aim to bring industry participants together to socialise and network, whilst raising funds that can provide a lasting legacy of which participants in the industry can be proud.
The Infrastructure Industry Foundation (IIF) was set up to unite the infrastructure community to donate funds to worthy charitable causes close to the hearts of people in the industry.
The IIF was conceived in response to the tragic diagnosis of one of our industry colleagues with a vicious and rare form of cancer, Adenoid Cystic Carcinoma (ACC). As such, the inaugural fundraising dinner, held in October 2019, was in support of The Ella Project, funding life-saving research into ACC.
Our vision was to establish a permanent cross industry foundation, recognising we all play an important role in the communities in which we operate, through our investments, providing essential services to the societies we live in. It is now more important than ever that we make a positive impact within our communities.
Members are invited to come forward with ideas as to which causes the IIF should support, which are relevant to people in the industry and where our contribution can make a significant difference.
Membership is available to any supporters of the Gala and charity.
We are inviting all participants in the industry to become members of the IIF. Members will be able to nominate and vote on causes for the foundation to support as well as propose Trustees of the IIF to represent the industry and oversee the IIF operation.

Support of the industry is critical to the success of the IIF
We invite all participating funds to nominate a Senior Member to join the IIF Committee. Such members have an important role in strategic support of the IIF and the initiatives on which it is focussed. This leadership group is envisaged to rotate in order for those who wish to be more actively involved at times to do so.
It is anticipated the IIF Committee will be called upon to vote on future causes, and attend annual meetings on existing activities.
Advisory Board formation is underway
The IIF Committee Members include individuals who make significant personal contributions in executing on the various initiatives of the charity. Please get in touch if you would like to get involved and support our work in any capacity
