The Infrastructure Industry Foundation (IIF) has been set up to unite the infrastructure industry in donating funds to worthy charitable causes close to the industry.
The IIF was conceived by Infracapital, with the backing of a number of our friends in the infrastructure industry, in response to the tragic diagnosis of one of our colleagues with a vicious and rare form of cancer, Adenoid Cystic Carcinoma (ACC). As such the inaugural fundraising dinner will be in support of The Ella Project, life saving research into ACC.
Our vision is to establish a permanent cross industry foundation. Through annual events we aim to bring participants across the industry together to socialise and network whilst raising funds that can provide a lasting legacy of which participants in the industry can be proud.
With ESG a key consideration for our activities as managers, we hope you agree there is an opportunity for us to make a further positive contribution to the societies in which we operate. We have received an overwhelmingly positive response from everyone we have spoken to about the idea to date so we are confident that we will be able to turn both night and the IIF into a great success.
The current proposed trustee representatives are overseeing the establishment of the IIF. It is envisaged certain trustees will rotate annually reflecting the causes to be supported in the year
We are inviting all participants in the industry to become members of the IIF.
A charitable association status is being sought, to ensure the ongoing success of the IIF beyond this inaugural event and to ensure that the industry can continue to support various worthwhile causes across the societies in which we live and operate.
We are inviting all participants in the industry to become members of the IIF. Members will be able to nominate and vote on causes for the foundation to support as well as propose Trustees of the IIF to represent the industry and oversee the IIF operation.
